i have black gums what is that tell me about it 10 points for best answer URGENT !!

Where do black gums come from??
Please don't freak out, if your skin color is dark, your gums are usually going to be black, well not exactly black but very dark brown.... you are not the only one in this world..... start looking around and you'll notice that most dark skin people has very dark gums.... is natural.

Black mouth gums come from genetics or eating some foods like black licorice or maybe from the plague.
Reply:Those are some causes but i have had black gums since I was little. I didn't start smoking or chewing tobacco at the age of 4 lol. Very good question. Can't wait for an answer!!!
Reply:this is caysed by pigmentation and the pigmentation by genetics,





you can't change the color or shade of your gums.
Reply:It is the normal pigment in the gum tissue which is common in black or people of ethnic decent. Usually cancer is a concern when there is a bright red, white or blue lesion.
