when i eat or chew gum and i chew between this 2 teeth, it goes in there and hurts my gums. (but it gets out) so i tried floss, and when i made the floss go thru those 2 teeth striking my gums it hurt me so bad! idk what 2 do! it hurts really bad. i know its not a cavity becuz ive had one and i know how it feels. but it really hurts and its not the teeth. its the gums only between those 2 teeth. and the rest of my gums are ok but it only hurts there. but idk whats happening or how to stop it from hurting!
please if u know tell me.
My gums hurt!?
rinse with a teaspoon of baking soda, and like, half a teaspoon of salt. OR, just baking soda. DO IT! it really works! (trust me. this has happenned to me A LOT of times!) -good luck, and GOD Bless!
Reply:Hopefully its not anything serious, you try putting some Orajel or other OTC numbing products? Do you have a Dentist?
Reply:Are you missing any teeth or are they spaced unusually far apart? It sounds like irritation from chewing or possibly something deep under the gum tissue. You need to see a dentist for positive constructive answers. It could involve bacterial pathology. It could be as simple as improper flossing techniques.
Reply:idk im having the same exact prob right this very min. lol,,im gonna just go to the dentist,,good luck
edit-hey i just tried the baking soda salt thing and it helped me so u should try it
