i was brushing my teeth then my gums on the upper right side started hurting. now my gums start hurting whenever i move my lips or i brush my teeth.
does anyone have tips to ease the pain
or does anybody have an idea about what could be wrong?
did i just cut my gums? when i brushing, it didn't bleed. so i don't know.
My gums hurt.?
Could be gingivitis, but you should go to the dentist to have them checked. good luck
Reply:Warm salt water rinses will help soothe your gums. Be sure when your brushing your gums your always gentle. That tissue is a lot more tender than the stuff on the rest of your body.
You should floss if your not. And if you're not flossing they may be inflamed and will bleed and ache at first. After a few days of good care the bleeding and aching will lessen and eventually go away. Warm salt water will help.
Good luck.
Reply:You dont have any bleeding? You might have gingivitis with absence of bleeding if you are a smoker. It might also be an ulcer which is causing pain from friction with the oral mucosa and toothbrush.
