White gums?

okay on the bottom roll of my teeth on the gums its white i don't think it's pus since no drainage or anything like that and it goes away after i brush my teeth for a few mins then it comes back. The white stuff is right between my gums and teeth and at the tip of my gums it's puffy like. I feel pressure there rarely, doesn't hurt or anything just feels like something is pushing against it, i normally massage my gums and it goes away

I don't know what i'm doing wrong, i brush twice a day and i use mouth wash everyday

White gums?
Plaque, the white stuff you are referring to, is akin to cholesterol clogging people's arteries. Without the "right stuff" to counteract it, it will continue to build up, and, in the case of teeth, erode them and your gums.

Although flossing can prevent new plaque from forming, only a dentist can scrape off the junk that's currently on your teeth.

BTW, don't be alarmed if you see a little blood or feel a little pain while flossing, assuming you are doing it correctly and have not done it in a while, or ever. If you're not used to flossing, your gums may be soft and easily "bruised". The more you floss (but gently!), the stronger your gums will become. However, if they continue to bleed after, say, a week of proper flossing, then you may have gum disease and will need to see a dentist. Regardless, if you don't know about flossing, then your dentist or dental hygienist have not done their jobs. At the very least, your parents might be able to help you (it's easy and takes about 60 seconds, which is less time than it took to eat the junk that caused the plaque in the first place!). ;)
Reply:FLoss! FLoss! Floss!
Reply:Sounds like gingervitis. See your dentist or it will get worse.
Reply:Have you had a cleaning lately? The puffiness is likely caused by a buildup of plaque around the necks of the teeth that can only be removed by professional tools so even by brushing 5 times a day you wont be able to clean it off. You should get in a routine of having your teeth cleaned every 6 months and that likely will end the problem for you. If you dont have the plaque removed, over time it can cause the gums to become inflamed and receed, which is not good.
