I went to the dentist the other day and the when the hygentist was cleaning my teeth she kept missing my teeth and getting my gums with this tool that spins around really fast to clean the teeth. It didnt rly hurt too bad so i didnt think it was a big deal. but as the day went on my gums began to hurt more. I looked in the mirror and they were bleading and appereared to be cut. Three days later they still hurt and when i brush my teeth the toothbrush really irriates them. It hurts so. What do you suggest? Should I go back to the dentist? What could they do for me?

Rinse with warm salt water 2-3x a day. You will be fine in a few days.
Reply:What do you expect them to do is the question. Next time just tell them to be more gentle. Sorry about your cuts, but we all get our share of those at the dentist. Try using an electric toothbrush so you can be more accurate, and not hit your cuts.
