Ulcers on the gums?

Is it possible to get canker sores on the gums?

I have small ulcers that resemble caker sores on my gums, and they hurt really bad. Also, they seem to have caused the gums to recede on the teeth that they are on. Are these just canker sores, or should i be worried about something more serious going on?

Ulcers on the gums?
possible -reduce your intake of acids, drink only water or milk, rinse with peroxide (don't swallow), and see your dentist.
Reply:There are several ways to prevent and manage ulcers on the gums. However, the best prevention of the disease unarguably requires sound dental hygiene which eliminates the presence of harmful microbes in the mouth, and to avoid or reduce spicy, acidic or salty foods and drinks, which tend to predispose to it.
