My gums are bothering me?

My gums are bothering me.... i looked closely at them and there is a small white spot on my lower gums. should i be worried? what is this?

see a dentist is a really good answer, they can usually fit you in on short notice,, x-rays and exams are not too expensive,,,,try switching to colgate it is really good for gingivitus and plaque,,,





i used to always have bleeding gums switched to electric (fancy) toothbrush and colgated and bleeding gums went away,,, last check up had a dentist comment on how well my teeth were taken care of,,, (real shocker coming from someone who would make more money by saying i had lots of problems) needless to say bleeding gums gone been checked up and bad breath left also,,,, hmmm

Reply:I think it is always better to visit the dentist as soon as possible. I don't think there is anything to be worried of before you check with the profesional. Don't worry yourself too much, it is not worth it to become restless when you are not sure about it. Just relax...
Reply:A small white spot that hurts could turn out to be a cold sore which developed on your gums. A dentist could check you out but a doctor could also diagnose it.
