My gums are really low on my teeth???
Please do not use an electric toothbrush! Frequently electric toothbrushes are over used and can easily cause more damage than they do good. Use a soft bristled, regular old fashioned toothbrush and only brush upwards on the front surface near the recession. Your question is too general to give a good answer...how old are you? Is the frenum (the skin behind your lower lip attached near where the gums are receding? Do you grind your teeth? Are those two teeth misaligned? These are all relevant questions that need to be addressed before an solid answer can be given. See your dentist. If these are the only two teeth that this is an issue, this could be a localized problem - perhaps your bite is off, or you are grinding, etc. etc.
Reply:~You have a receeding gumline. It's usually caused by brushing with a hard toothbrush, switch to a "soft" toothbrush and brush in little circles. Your teeth aren't going to fall out.~
Reply:you should get an electric toothbrush with really soft bristols. i have the same problem (receeding gumlines). i didn't know there were negative consequences to brushing your teeth regularly until i got my last check up. boo.
