Swollen gums,and bleeding,during pregnancy?
That isn't a good indication of pregnancy. I had gengivitis years before I got pregnant. Of course, now I took care of my gums and teeth and it's gone, but my point is that there is NO way to say you're pg just based on that alone.
Reply:Those symptoms usually happen much later in pregnancy. Its not an idication of early pregnancy.
Reply:I'm not personally familiar with those symptoms being consistant with pregnancy, and if your recent otc pregnancy test came out negative, I would hightly doubt this has anything to do with pregnancy. If you're absolutely convinced you're pregnant, go to your doctor for a blood test - they're more accurate, and can tell you exactly how far along you are.
But I would most likely say that you're not pregnant - I'd go to your doc if I were you and get checked out. It sounds like something else - possibly an allergic reaction, acid reflux, or something along those lines. It's definitely inflammation as a reaction to something. Just gotta nail down what the "what" is.
Good luck!!! Sounds pretty uncomfortable!
Reply:In any case ,your symptoms show either vitamin c deficiency which is very common or dyspepsia...indigestion and flatus and should be treated first and a third probability is to be allergic to fries, spices, smoking, alcolics even few days ago.......Dr sherif lanson khalil of Egypt (karkoury)
Reply:Actually... I did have bleeding gums in the beginning of pregnancy...
And when I went in to be tested I pretty much told the woman I was pregnant. I had never been before... but I was either pregnant... or ill and dying of some strange disease.
One of the first questions she asked was about symptoms... bleeding gums included. I'm not sure what the first poster is talking about. But I have had them through out my entire pregnancy. My gums always bleed when I brush my teeth now.
When mine were swollen it was usually the ones in the front. Behind the teeth the gums were puffy and just kind of stuck out a bit. Also, my mouth because more sensitive to things. (Such as heat... I burned my tongue and roof of my mouth a lot in the beginning.)
As for the burnt lips. I have no idea on that one.
Reply:"Pink Toothbrush" usually doesn't happen until around the 16th week of pregnancy. It happened to me around that time, but it could be different in each woman.
