Can we see teeths roots of the top of the gums where the teeths is.?

Sometimes the root of a tooth can become prominent and sensitive, meaning that you can see it a little bit and it hurts when exposed to extreme cold or heat. Usually it's just whiter above one tooth than on the rest of the gum. If it were exposed, you'd know, because it would hurt a lot. Prominence usually comes after some kind of trama to the area, like an accident where you hit the tooth or extreme movement with orthodontics.

You can not see the roots of your tooth just by looking into your mouth. I mean you potentially could but you would know if a root were exposed! OUCH!
