Gums Swollen, can't bite fully. What can I do to fix it?

My gums towards my lower right wisdom teeth are swollen and pretrude over my teeth a little so I cannot bite fully because if I do, I bite the pretrusion of the gum. I've never had any problems with my teeth before, brush twice a day, no cavities, and such. It's been going on for a couple of days and making it hard to swallow as well as trying to open my mouth as wide as I can.

it is definitely time for the dentist! just because you brush twice a day doesn't mean you won't have issues with your teeth. don't ignore this, as it could into something worse with time!!
